Ding Dong #Chewyinfluencer calling. Spring is in the air and so is the pet hair. Chewy has a solution to the excessive fur problem.
It’s shedding time, spring and fall pets blow their coat if their of the shedding breed. Long and short haired cats blow their coat. Cats are excessive groomers and don’t like to have unwanted “hair” or the feel of being dirty so they groom to keep themselves in tip top shape. When they groom they ingest two-thirds of their fur and they other third ends up on your furniture or clothing.
To combat the possibility of heath problems from ingesting the shedding fur why not get your cat used to brushing and remove the fur before it can get ingested.
The FURminator is the tool for you. This tool is recommended by Veterinarians and Professional Groomers because it gives real results. Our groomer at Harmony Pet Clinic uses the FURminator on dogs and cats.

MK is a indoor-outdoor kitty so she is used to being outside. I took her outside to use the FURminator. I don’t brush her very often, mainly when she has tuffs from shedding I brush her. She didn’t mind the FURminator one bit. She stood while I held her front end and tolerated the brushing.
The neck area is where she was shedding the most so that is the area we concentrated on this weekend.
We took small breaks so she didn’t get angry with all the brushing. Her fur came off so easily and in such large quantities. It was a windy day so it just flew in the wind to be picked up later by the birds to line their nests.
The FURminator comes with a push button fur release system. You don’t need to pull the fur out, you push the button and the fur is released.
The FURminator comes with a blade guard and in two sizes, small and large depending on your cats size.
We give this brush 4 paws up. It’s well worth the cost, it keeps the fur and potential health problems at bay.

I was given one FURminator in exchange for a honest review from Chewy.com.
We use one on cat bro Bert too.
I’ve heard those things are pretty amazing on shedders and our photos are proof in the pudding! Wow.
we agree… it’s fur-time… Neilson carries the longhair gene, so we have to look for a different gromming tool now too… the mama furst thought something is wrong as she saw his undercoat LOL
That is great to help eliminate hairballs! I couldn’t live without my FURminator.
Samantha doesn’t really enjoy being brushed, and she won’t stand still for it! I don’t do it as often as I should, and a good brush is definitely an important tool! I actually use a couple different ones on her, to get at that long fur in different ways.
I don’t think the original Furminator had the push button, did it? That is definitely great for cleaning it!
