Nothing But Norman #62

Happy Saturday All!

Project16 - Copy - Copy - Copy

Norman’s favorite spot on the couch was right next to me on the chase lounge, he would lay by John sometimes but mostly he was by me. At night when 9 pm came along he somehow new it was bedtime and he would get up from his spot and stand on the ground and lay his head on the chase lounge and just stare at me until I got up and went to bed. Even when I didn’t want to go to bed just yet he would move all around the chase lounge and stare at me from different angles. He is the only dog that would let me know it was bed time until now. It’s taken almost a year since Norman’s passing for him to channel his son Gambler. 3 times in the past week Gambler has gotten up from Norman’s spot on the chase lounge next to me and has laid his head on it staring at me trying to get me to get up and go to bed. Thank you Norman for coming back in your son.

Heaven gained another furangel yesterday. Norman was waiting to show his buddy Carson the ropes. Carson was my co-worker and friend Laura’s pal. He will me missed by all. Picture collage was taken this past August by her best friend Lisa Finke. So glad she has these wonderful pictures to remember Carson by. RIP Big Guy!

It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them, and every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are. – Anonymous

It’s true they take a piece of our heart when they go…. I’m so sorry for Carson and his furmily. But I’m glad that Gambler has a wonderful part of his dad inside :o) Have a good saturday.

It gives us comfort when we realize that one of the dogs we have lost come back and is teaching our others things about our lives together. Makes me 🙂
So sad for Carson’s family, RIP big guy.

It is so great that Gambler has taken over Norman’s job of getting you to bed. 🙂 I just love it when Luke does something that Kobi used to do, it just brings some comfort to feel like they are still with us that way.
Carson looks like he was a big sweetie, sorry for your friend’s loss.

Farewell Carson. Such a sweet story about Gman telling you it was bedtime like Norman did. Just this week I have been noticing things Freighter is doing that Thunder has always done (climbing on the counter is not one…counter surf yes, climb no…lol).

    Hi Y’all!

Oh Norman, I like to remind my Human when it’s bed time, but I bark and bark at her…yes, even if there are visitors. She says her Flat Coat used to do the same thing, but he’d bark and then go to bed without waiting for her.

So sorry to hear that there is another furangel. My wishes are furry and paws are crossed for your friend and Carson’s pal.

    Y’all come by now,
