Nothing But Norman #94

Happy Saturday All!

Project16 - Copy - Copy - Copy

This week I re mulched my flower bed which were long overdue. Norman loved laying by the beds when I was working on them. The other dogs would run off but not Norman he always stuck by me.

This rose bush is no more, not really sure what happened the weeds must of taken it over.

I can’t work in the garden with Easy… he immediately starts to “work” too :o)
the last picture is an artpiece, maybe can make a canvas print once for the wall :o)

Aw he was the perfect gardening companion! Kobi used to love to hang out with me when I was gardening too. The rest of the crew gets too rambunctious around the gardens so they aren’t allowed to help. I hope when Luke gets a bit older and mellows out I can let him hang with me….I miss having that company, as I’m sure you must too.

Sam loves to lay in the mulch or pile of leaves (argh–I just brushed you dude!) but he’s my gardening buddy too and it makes me smile when he’s there keeping with over me and the garden. I thought my shrub rose was a winter casualty but saw yesterday that it’s greening up and just need the dead canes to be pruned away. Shrub roses are one of my favorites.

I love both photos, but the Sepia pic has a great feel to it with Norman’s expression and the flag in the background. There’s something about it. Weeds are the bane of my existence, so I hear ya!

Too bad about the bush. I fear we will need to replace some shrubs this year because I think the cold wiped them out. Hubby thinks they will come back…we will see.
