I make paracord items, one of my best sellers is paracord puppy id collars. These are collars made of paracord that you can put on day old puppy or kittens for that fact and keep on them adjusting them as they grown until they go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age.

I have solid or multi colored collars. I sell them in bundles of 12. Unless someone requests custom colors I bundle them as 12 solids or 12 multi colors in a order.

The paracord is cut 13.5-14 inches in length. I connect the ends with plastic tubing.

You can put them on the puppy a couple of different ways. You can do like the purple collar above and loop around the neck twice and keep the plastic connectors at the end of the parcord or you can loop around once and move the plastic connectors together and have “antenna’s”.

One thing you want to be careful of if you use the double loop method is that if the paracord isn’t snug and their is a gab between the loops the puppy may get it’s arm stuck between the loops.

As the puppies wear the collars they do get dirty. You can wash these collars in the washer machine, you can throw in with some towels and detergent. You can put them in the dryer as well but not needed as they dry quite fast.

I wash my collars a couple times then I send them home with the puppy buyers so they have a memento of their puppies color while at my house.
