Snow And Bumpers = Fun~FitDog Friday

Snow And Bumpers = Fun

If you don’t believe that statement then take a look at these photos of the gang out getting a little exercise in the bitter cold WI weather.

Gambler made sure he came back flying over the snow bank. It’s not as much fun running around the snow bank as it is to fly over it.

Glory of course doesn’t need no stinkin bumpers to carry around, she wants her logs. She was jumping over the snow banks like nobody’s business. She then grabbed the bumper so she could have some bumper photos also.

Nellie even got out to have a little bumper fun in the snow. She may be older but she isn’t much slower.

We didn’t stay outside very long since the high was 5 degrees but we got out for short periods of time to get a little exercise in.

A bright bumper in the snow would be loads of fun, but we don’t care about bumpers. We just chase each other and on walks these days we are running and jumping around with sticks we are finding. Great snow exercise!

I couldn’t even walk this morning, it was too dang cold. Good for you for getting them out and letting them burn off some steam!

I love looking at your snow doggie pictures! Perfect way to get some exercise in these days ~ we’ve been incorporating short, but several trips to the outdoors as well these last few days (high of 12 F).

Good for you all getting out there, it looks like the dogs definitely enjoyed it! We are still trying to get outside too, but it’s also for short periods. Today I just couldn’t do it though. We had two 25 degree days and then today plunged back to below zero wind chills and I just couldn’t face more than 5 minutes out there with the dogs when I first got home from work!

We had a heat wave today got to 16F, so we got to stay outside a bit longer the Newfs we out at least an hour at a time. Aspen was making Mica run with him so they were staying warmer. I made it about 20 minutes with then today. More snow tonight but a little bit warmer for weekend 🙂

That is crazy cold. No wonder the gang doesn’t want their paws to touch the ground! BOL! Those are such great shots! How were your hands not shaking in that cold??

We’ve been getting 5 degree weather as well and I DO NOT LIKE IT! My guys have their feet freeze up so playing in the snow doesn’t work. There is a bit of cabin fever going on here!
