The Barks:
A hugh thank you goes out to Lisa, Teddy, Scout and Diesel over at Dogs N Pawz . They were having multiple Unbreakoball giveaways and we were lucky enough to win the last ball they were giving away. I really wanted to win this ball to put it to the Gman test. Gman is a ball wrecker and has chewed up many balls so I was super excited when I got the email that we won.
The Bytes:
I want to thank the FitDog Friday blog hop for awarding Sand Spring Chesapeakes In The Hunt award. We are proud to be awarded this award and have displayed it on our sidebar. Check it out if you haven’t seen it already. Come back tomorrow to see what the SS gang did this week for their FitDog Friday post.

WHAT IS WOOF?
WOOF, Working Out Our Fears, is an online group for reactive dogs and their owners to seek support from others who are dealing with similar experiences.
The Woof theme today is: “What I Love about My Reactive Dog”.
This is my first WOOF blog post and I wanted to share “What I Love about My Reactive Dog”.
My reactive dog is Nellie. She is reactive in a couple of ways but today going with the theme I will tell you that I love that Nellie is the best “alarm/guard dog” in our house. Any little noise that she hears and thinks is coming from outside she goes ballistic. She will jump up out of a dead sleep to go bark at what ever she heard just to alert us something might not be right. She has done this her entire life. At times I will admit it drives me nuts because if you “burp” she will think it came from outside and she will go into attack mode and bark, bark, bark. When she does alert us that someone is outside outweighs the over barking at normal noises. I am glad I have Nellie to alert me as I know with her barking and carrying on an intruder might think twice of coming in, for that I love her.
