Today is Tasty Tuesday’s 2nd Year Anniversary. I just recently started following Sugar The Golden Retriever and checking out all of her Tasty Tuesday’s treats. The Tasty Tuesday host’s Kol’s Notes and Sugar The Golden Retriever are hosting a contest. I decided it would be fun to enter this contest and join in for the first time on Tasty Tuesday.
I made Tasty Watermelon Treats for my Tasty Tuesday contest.
All you need is a watermelon, plain yogurt and ice cube trays.
Cut the watermelon in half.
Using a melon baller scoop out balls of watermelon (keep for yourself) drain the liquid into another bowl.
Cut the rhine into smilie faces, scrap out the extra watermelon and add to the liquid.
Add plain yogurt to the liquid part of the watermelon you saved.
You can also use just the liquid to fill the ice cub trays.
Mix well and put into ice cube trays or if you would like put them into push up containers like I have here. Put in Freezer. Let the push up warm up a bit before giving to your dog, then it will push out easily.
Give your dog the rhine to make smilie faces and then they can eat.

What fun! My poor dogs will never get watermelon. The chickens and goose love it too much. They even eat most of the rind till it’s paper thin. Poor, poor puppies. Yours look so happy!

Mommy just came home from the store with another watermelon, and now thanks to you she’s going to make the frozen watermelon treats. Yummy!
