That Cat Tree Is Not A Chew Toy

Preacher has been really good for the first 15 weeks of her life. She hasn’t chewed on much of anything. That all changed Friday morning when I was still in bed and she thought the carpet on the cat tree needed a trim.

This is not a chew toy.

This is not a chew toy.

This carpet is ugly.

Really it was Gambler!

Preacher is teething right now. She has lost a couple upper incisors while her adult teeth are dropping down. They are just like kids and chewing makes their gums feel better so hence the cat tree incident. Hopefully she won’t get it in her head she needs to keep chewing.

do you have one of her puppie teeth? I always wanted one from Easy to keep it forever… sadly I never found one (do they swallow that little teeth?) I’m sorry for MK’s damaged tower… but I’ve heard little humans scream a lot while teething… so… well LOL

OMD! Preacher is so adorable even when being destructive! When Bentley was around six months we left him out of his kennel with our Golden Retriever while we drove to the Circle K. It was no more than 15 minutes before we returned. Bentley had pulled up our carpet from the back door to about 3 feet into the living room and shredded the padding. He looked so innocent when we came back. He was not. BOL!

Teething, what fun! Aspen brought in sticks to chew and I got him bully sticks. we also used bitter apple spray to spray on things he was determined to chew. Preacher you need to leave the cats things alone!

Bailie was an angel for so long, and then one day it started and it still hasn’t ended with chewing, destuffing and shredding. Katie and I never did stuff like that.

When you are that age everything is a chew toy! I have a long list of casualties, Nylabones saved me and my mom. Love Dolly

    Hi Y’all,

Poor Preacher. My Human has never had a problem with “chewing” even when she had puppies thanks to crates and chew toys and frozen towels…great to ease teething pain.

    Y’all come on by,
