I’m a naturally playful, curious, and trusting canine. Take me for a big walk every day – give me something to do. I love to be a busy bee! After my job’s done, I’ll curl up with you in the evenings.I get along with some other dogs,I would probably be okay with cats and you can try me with children of all ages.       I thought that was pricey too but all our Humane Society’s in this area are about that price. I think if it is a senior dog or cat the price comes down. That includes spaying/neutering them, heartworm test, deworming, vaccinations. We help out the southern states a lot by taking in mostly dogs from there so I guess they have to charge that much to be able to take in other states dogs, but I really don’t know. Hopefully they all can find a home.

    Thank you for joining the blog hop! She is a cutie. If my husband saw her he would want her! He has always wanted a bulldog. Our adoption fee here is $25 but I know that is really cheap compared to others. I think the reason it is so cheap here is because Paws for Life helps fund our animal shelter. Hope she finds a forever home real soon!

    I think the adoption fees are really what is holding a lot of people back. Up here if you go to a breed specific rescue you will pay at least $400. I think some people feel like they might just as well spend the money on a purebred. While I understand all the money they put into these dogs i think I lot more would be adopted if the fee was less.

    What a handsome dog. I like this dog hop. I think I’m going to join in once a month. Our adoption fees are that pricey, too.

    We have two shelters here – the kill shelter, which is free (if they’re neutered), or fifty bucks. And the no-kill, which is 200 dollars. It makes sense, but it hurts either way.
