imageAmazon.com: Diesel the Shelter Pup: A True Story …

A true story about a little puppy that was adopted from the animal shelter. The puppy’s name is Diesel and he is a little Plott Hound Mix. He is adorable and we love him very much! This book was written for children to show them how lovable shelter animals can be and to also increase the awareness of the plight of shelter animals. I hope you think Diesel is as adorable as we think he is!

Here is the review I wrote after reading this great book: This was a well written cute book about a shelter adoption success along with getting the word out on adopting from a shelter vs buying a dog. I loved how she incorporated Diesels mom into the book to get the word out that she still needs a furever home. Just after I read this book Lilly got adopted. What a happy ending. Great pictures to go along with the story.

The pictures are wonderful! He is a super great pup, even when he peed on the “unbreak-o-ball” lol.
Isn’t that great, that not only Diesel found a great home, with the book his mom found a furever family too. Sometimes the world is just a great place :o)

Diesel’s book is so cute, and such a great way for kids to learn more about adopting dogs too.
