If you saw my blog yesterday you read and saw photos of Gamblers daughter Red hunting some pheasants this past weekend. Red brought down a couple of her Golden Retriever buddies to hang and hunt with. Here are the photos I took of Red, Rip and Blue. The Golden’s haven’t had any experience with pheasants so it was nice to have them hunt them and see what they would do. Blue is about the same age as Red so just under 2. The Golden’s were very well behaved and we enjoyed having them.
Even know these friends with their dogs are from upper Michigan we will be seeing more of them this summer with the hunt test season coming up. They all run hunt tests so will be coming to WI to run some tests with us. It’s nice to have friends to hang around with at the tests and give each other support. It’s looking like a fun summer ahead!
It’s fun to always find folks we know at our trials around the area too. These days it seems like lots of us travel to get spots in tests. Enjoy.
